Meet Sarah Tancell, FCIPD – Founder of Neuro-D.
Sarah has spent her career at the intersection of HR, leadership development, and neurodiversity. While rolling out a global neurodiversity programme during her HRD days, she noticed a consistent gap: accessible, practical training and neuroinclusive practices that truly helped people understand what neuroinclusion looked like in action. Determined to fill that gap, she founded Neuro-D. a consultancy delivering practical, real-world solutions for organisations and the neurodivergent individuals within them.
As a triple-neurodivergent, Sarah knows first-hand the challenges neurodivergent employees face when trying to fit into neurotypical workplaces. She understands how isolating it can feel, how it can be soul-destroying, and how it can affect many areas of life beyond work. Much of her working life has been a balancing act, navigating exceptional performance while managing the crashes of neurodivergent burnout.
Following additional diagnoses later in life, Sarah studied neurodiversity at an organisational level and became a certified neurodiversity coach, first to understand her own neurotype, and then to deepen her knowledge of neurodiversity’s impact in the workplace. She now combines this expertise with her lived experience and over 20 years of senior HR experience to design frameworks, tools, and practical solutions that help organisations remove barriers, build trust, and create inclusive workplaces where neurodivergent talent can reach their full potential.

We take a whole-system approach to neuroinclusion, supporting HR teams, leaders, and organisations to move far beyond awareness and embed meaningful, practical, and sustainable change. Our work blends strategic guidance with hands-on, real-world support to help organisations create environments where neurodivergent talent to reach their full potential and where wellbeing, trust, and performance naturally strengthen as a result.
Through tailored training, coaching, and evidence-informed frameworks, we equip managers and leaders with the skills, confidence, and language they need to lead inclusively, reduce burnout, and hold psychologically safe conversations. We focus on translating insight into action, ensuring that inclusive practices become everyday habits rather than one-off initiatives.
Neuro-D exists to reshape systems, shift culture, and build workplaces where every brain belongs, not just in principle, but in the lived experience of every employee.
